9th Carrom World Championship
Italy welcomes the world. Players, officials and representatives from ICF member nations meet for seven days of championship carrom. This offline guide is prepared from the 8-page prospectus dated 14 August 2026.
01 – Key Dates
Online entries open on the ICF website.
Entries and fees due (USD 600 per participant).
First cancellation threshold (60% fee retained).
Player replacement deadline.
30 Nov 2026: Hospitality begins (afternoon) & Managers’ meeting (21:00).
6 Dec 2026: Departure day (hospitality concludes in the forenoon).
02 – Eligibility & National Entries

Officials permitted: President/Secretary General, 1 coach, 2 managers.
How to submit: Online from 15 to 30 September 2026 under the “9th Carrom World Championship” tab at internationalcarrom.com.
03 – Venue & Hospitality
Championship Venue: Grand Hotel Le Fonti, Chianciano Terme, Italy.
- Hospitality: Boarding, lodging, and local transport included from 30 Nov (afternoon) to 6 Dec (forenoon) 2026.
- Airport Transfers: Provided from/to “Rome International Airport” (specific airport not specified in prospectus).
- Requirements: Mandatory travel/medical insurance and compliance with visa requirements.
- Uniform: Country name must appear in BLOCK CAPITALS on both front and back. Uniform colors must be declared on the entry form.
04 – Championship Play & Equipment
- Rules: ICF Laws of Carrom apply. Protests require a USD 50 scrutiny fee.
- Technology: Electronic umpiring with DRS system for self-umpiring.
- Equipment: SYNCO Special Edition boards, SYNCO Premia carrom men, and potato starch playing powder.
- Schedule: Distributed at the Managers’ Meeting on 30 November 2026 at 21:00.
